Prayer Room

Thursday 29 May - Saturday 7 June
As we move towards Pentecost as a church whānau, we’re embarking on a journey of 10 Days of Prayer. This is a significant time to outwork the series we’ve been looking at - to pray for a holy awakening in our lives, our church, this city, this whenua, and the wider world.

10 Days of prayer

Two thousand years ago, a group of people gathered in a room, and they prayed constantly for ten days. At the end of that prayer meeting, the Holy Spirit was poured out, and the church was born! With all the challenges the church faces today, we are invited to humble ourselves, seek God in prayer, and ask Him to pour out His Spirit afresh on the church.

We want to invite you to join us as we imitate those early disciples and pray for ten days as we head towards Pentecost.

Prayer Room

We are transforming our Lady Chapel into a prayer room. There will be a prayer room booklet to guide you into some interactive stations based on interceding and praying for others, especially for those who do not know the love of God in their lives.

Opening

We will open the prayer room with a short communion on Thursday 29 May at midday, you are welcome to join us.

Booking a prayer slot for the Lady Chapel or at Home

Times are for a 1-hour session, and you will be let into the church. The prayer room will be available during Sunday services, and the youth will be using it on Friday nights.

You can also 'book a slot' to pray at home. You can do that through the same link below.

Small Groups

If your small group is wanting to book an evening slot, please email Rachel to chat more.
