St Paul’s Music exists to bring God’s message to the world through God-inspired music.

Our vision begins with the local church and flows out to the wider body through a range of musical offerings; from congregational worship songs through to reflective or “performance” songs, with a production quality that brings them to life.

At the heart of it all our mission is to make Him known and lead others into a deeper life with Jesus.

Jesus answered, "Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life." John 4:13-14

Drawing inspiration from the scriptures – particularly the Psalms – You Are My Desire is a prayer. It is a prayer to the God of all generations to teach us, to give us wisdom and understanding; to guide us in His good and perfect ways. A prayer that our will would align with His above all else and that He would be glorified and lifted high in our lives and through all generations to come.
In a world where “we are what we love” and we are constantly drawn to drink from other wells that can and will never satisfy, God invites us to come and drink from the spring of Living Water; the One who can truly satisfy our souls.

“Having sung this song as a church through lockdowns, online church and in-person gatherings, we are so grateful to have finally been able to get into the studio and capture it with our team.” says worship leader and songwriter, Chris Cope. “It’s a song that means a lot to us and we hope that it will be a blessing as others sing it and make it their prayer also.”

Alt Carols

From 2015 - 2019, St Paul's ran an event called Alt Carols at Christmastime. Musicians from St Paul's and across Auckland took a traditional Christmas carol and put their own spin on it, creating something fresh and new. Four years of Alt Carols have been recorded in the studio and turned into full albums.
