I bring to St Paul’s a desire to be part of developing communities in which people flourish through engaging with the Biblical story, God and each other. I grew up in rural Otago and enjoy people, having worked as a relationship therapist and educator of counselors. I’m also passionate about learning, having studied in England, Canada, and Australia. Before joining the leadership team at St Paul’s, my work involved establishing and leading the school of counseling at Laidlaw College in Auckland and Christchurch, as well as exploring models for integrating therapy and theology. As part of this project we recently published a book entitled: Stories of Therapy, Stories of Faith. My wife Barbara and I have four daughters, and I like nothing more than getting out of town on my motorcycle. email lex
