"Sheer Nights" kicked off to a great start on Thursday 9 June with Lucy Houtas, Pearl Harper and Sally Shanks sharing some insight and wisdom on difficult relationships. They chatted honestly about how to relate to those we struggle to see eye-to-eye with, followed by Q-and-A sesh.

Special thanks Suzie and Sophie for doing a fab job of the worship, and of course a yummy supper thanks to Pip Gay.

One of the attendees, St Paul's Childrens' Worker Linda Bowman said "[Sheer] was fantastic. Three wonderful speakers, lovely worship, ministry. Sigh! LOVED it! Got some sensible advice and lots of inspiration."

Here's a bit of inspiration that Sally Shanks shared on the night - "Families are designed to nurture us so we know we are lovable and give us structure so we know we are capable." Brilliant stuff. Stick that on your fridge.

If you like the sound of Sheer, we invite you to come along on 7 July to hear Lou Grant speak on "Doing Singleness Well," and on August 4 we have the pleasure of hosting Charles and Jo Hewlett to speak about "Where is God when it hurts?"
