If you ventured downstairs last Sunday you would have heard a loud but harmonious noise coming from the meeting room. Selahphonic, an Australian band touring New Zealand, led the Bunker sessions and we had a fantastic time! Lead singer Jamie shared his powerful childhood story: at five he lost much of his arm to a lawnmower and aged eleven he was abused. He wrestled with being accepted and accepting himself, and after years of trying everything he could it was only through Jesus that he found peace, security and love. Acoustic songs broke up the testimony and reflected his experiences, then we finished with a party and breakdance circle!
