Whether you have just started life as a Christian, or have been on this journey for years, you will have encountered all kinds of questions.
True Christian faith doesn’t run away from questions. In fact, it delights in them as one of the main ways of growing in our relationship with God. Thinking more deeply about our faith is in fact simply a way of obeying the command of Jesus to love God with our minds, as well as our hearts, souls and bodies. Committing yourself to the discipline of study is an excellent way of growing in faith and love for God.
Many Christians long to study their faith more deeply. However, most are not able to go away to college or seminary, and often their local church does not have the resources to run basic courses in theology. The St Paul’s Theological Centre Auckland is a satellite of the St Paul’s Theological Centre in London and offers an opportunity to listen to some of the best thinkers and communicators of Christian faith from New Zealand and around the world. We provide an open and informative environment for discussing the big issues and getting to know others on the same journey.
We meet on Tuesday evenings at St Paul’s Church, from 7:00pm – 9:15pm, and kick off with dessert and coffee (or herbal tea if you're that way inclined). No worries if you've never done anything like this before, you don't need any previous experience or prior biblical knowledge. We'll even pick up the tab for parking, just park in the Wilson parking building on St Paul St, and bring your ticket with you to the course.
