PRAISE Heard of Chikungunya? Most around here had not. Neither had I. But that is what I have. It’s a viral infection from a mosquito that bites in the daytime. Nothing to do with chickens! High fever, headache rashes and joint swellings. My voice has come back..and all I have now are rashes on my lower legs and swollen ankles. Please pray for full recovery and patience. Allen — 16, our first child in the new home for physically disabled children, has a very pleasing personality, and is enjoying every experience. For years he has stayed all day on a little wood slat bed in a shack with a dirt floor that isn’t even flat..and parents needing to work all day. Yes he lives in a wheelchair and needs 24 hour care... We managed to find a very good 'buddy', .and he is going to school for the first time and really enjoying Grade One – 6 year olds! He can draw! Watched a basketball game here. Came to prayer meeting last night. Learning to joke now. From a life of staying at home, he is on a roll! PRAYER A huge scam was unearthed last year involving senators taking government money that were placed in bogus NGOs that only existed in paperwork. Two senators have been put in custody last week. The police last week allowed people in until 2am in the morning, bringing in roast pig and the like! This week that Police Head was dismissed and laws will be followed! Please pray that the Justice department will go ahead and lead well, so that the cases get finished. We need 10 more computers for our Computer Room. That will give us 31. If we can get these, we can also start to help Deaf young people by having a night class training from a Professional Center. We are wanting to sell 3 ”tired” (old) vehicles and replace them with a Toyota Hiace, which each area can avail of, if in need for long trips or certain events. God Bless!
